Oral CGRP Receptor Antagonist Showed Statistically Significant Improvement In Migraine Relief Versus Placebo

U.N. Report Finds Donors Providing Less Aid To Developing Nations
Despite rising food and energy prices and slowing economic growth worldwide, aid to developing nations has been on the decline, according to a United Nations report released on Thursday by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the New York Times reports. The report found that aid decreased by 8.4% in 2007, following a 4.7% decrease in 2006 (Macfarquhar, New York Times, 9/4).

Philadelphia-Area Hospital Plans Maternity Unit Closure, Joins 15 Other Recent Closures In Region
The maternity unit at Philadelphia's Chestnut Hill Hospital will close on Nov. 7, joining 15 other hospitals in the region in closing their maternity units since 1997, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Only seven hospitals in Philadelphia will offer obstetrical care after Chestnut Hill closes its maternity unit, according to the Inquirer.
